Our story began in 2005, in a tiny converted barn in rural Herefordshire. We started with a simple idea: to bring together beautiful, thoughtfully made products that put people and the planet first.
At the time, we were the only dedicated Fair Trade shop in Herefordshire. More than 20 years later, you’ll find us on the High Street in the market town of Ledbury, and while Ethos has grown and evolved, the values we started with haven’t changed.
Today, our collection reaches beyond Fair Trade to include sustainable, organic, recycled and natural products from makers and brands we believe in. Everything we choose is considered - from how and where something is made to the materials used and the people behind it.
We believe the things we buy can make a difference. Fair Trade can help create more secure livelihoods and opportunities for communities around the world, while choosing products made responsibly and from more sustainable materials can help reduce their impact on the environment.
